Nick Holland

was a sweet kid
long, and short, of hair
but <<1977>> shook everyone off their axes
esp if you were only 13 yo
which is modern for years old

one morning he arrived early in the classroom
with four polystyrene letters reading
P-U-N-K which he somehow glued to the wall
above the blackboard yes
blackboard none of your
whiteboards then oh shut up

how did he transport these substantial objects
did his parents assist him with this mission
we shall never know

and accompanied
because he couldn't betray them
by the legends
